My Treament Modalities
Integrative Psychiatry combines conventional psychiatric medication with complementary modalities to address the whole person. Here are some of the tools we have available as we collaborate on your personalized treatment plan.
Medication Management
I practice psychodynamic prescribing, adopting a thoughtful pharmacological approach that respects your values, personality, and creativity while optimizing treatment outcomes and minimizing side effects. In my practice, it’s vital to minimize the burden of medications, especially when treating mood and bipolar disorders. Many individuals avoid medications due to negative experiences, such as changes in personality, temperament, sexual side effects, and impacts on creativity. I prioritize listening to your concerns and explaining complex clinical concepts to ensure informed decision-making.
Psychotherapy

My Treatment Philosophy

Integrating psychotherapy and medication management involves addressing both biological and psychopharmacological processes while also emphasizing the importance of psychodynamic therapy.

I believe that psychiatry at heart focuses on understanding the individual as a whole to navigate complexities that have developed over the years of trauma, unstable ego, abandonment, and a series of injuries to self-esteem and self-worth.

I believe that wellness, happiness, and harmony are a result of a wholesome way of living, stability of ego, decreased toxicity, and staying true to one’s values. By integrating psychotherapy, medication management, psychopharmacology, lifestyle interventions, and collaborative goal-setting, I empower my patients to achieve balance, resilience, and personal growth.
